Passenger Elevator

Passenger elevators are the most commonly used type of elevators in daily life. In their design, many details such as comfort, safety, decoration, ease of use, and speed are taken into consideration to provide passengers with a safe and comfortable transportation experience.

Carrying capacity may vary according to needs. Passenger elevators are generally manufactured with capacity options of 240 kg, 320 kg, 400 kg, 630 kg, 800 kg, 1000 kg, and 1600 kg, serving a wide range of applications from residential buildings to business centers.

Although passenger elevators are mostly preferred in residential buildings, they are classified within the first-class elevator category in terms of safety standards and operational features. They offer solutions that are both aesthetically elegant and technologically modern.

Why Are Mirrors Used in Elevator Cabins?

There are two main reasons for using mirrors in elevators:

  • Making it easier to recognize the arriving elevator: When the called elevator reaches the floor and we enter the cabin, seeing ourselves in the mirror helps confirm that the cabin has arrived correctly and that the door is fully open.
  • Creating a more spacious feeling for people with claustrophobia: Mirrors reflect the interior space, making the cabin appear larger and helping passengers with fear of enclosed spaces feel more comfortable.

In passenger elevators, both safety and user comfort are prioritized. Proper capacity selection, aesthetic design, safety equipment, and modern technologies come together to provide a long-lasting and high-performance transportation system.
